HOSA Competition Information
We here at eDynamic Learning are passionate about technology, innovation, and education. We are dedicated to inspiring today’s youth to pursue their goals and dreams. As part of this long standing commitment, we have partnered with several Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) and offered scholarship opportunities for over a decade. This year we are sponsoring HOSA’s Prepared Speaking and Speaking Skills competitive events. Through this partnership with HOSA we are motivating and helping students to improve their durable, employability knowledge and skills.

Sponsored Competition: Prepared Speaking (PS) Thursday, June 19, 10:00 am – 12:15 pm – Bayou E
Many students strive to have more confidence when speaking in front of groups of people, and for students entering the healthcare field, effective communication is a must. In this event, students utilize the Public Speaking 1a and Public Speaking 1b courses from eDynamic Learning to bring their speeches to life by learning about body language, vocal control, and other techniques. Using the wisdom and knowledge of famous speakers throughout history, while learning what it takes to make a great speech helps develop skills that will serve students throughout their careers in the healthcare field and in their personal lives. Students will create and present on the healthcare topic of their choice, and receive valuable feedback to help them examine their speeches and presentations, as well as those of others, to improve upon their in-person and virtual presentation skills.
