Mission: Assemble the Fleet

Explore the world of engineering and manufacturing as students discover how a nationwide supply chain comes together to build a modern U.S. Navy vessel and protect America’s shores in Learning Blade’s New Mission: Assemble the Fleet.

Step into the world of shipbuilding and advanced manufacturing as students design and construct a next-generation U.S. Navy patrol vessel. Recruited by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), students explore how naval readiness depends on a nationwide supply chain spanning all 50 states. Working alongside machinists, electricians, marine engineers, robotics technicians, and supply chain coordinators, students discover how raw materials become precision components through coordination, timing, and innovation.
