Industry-Recognized Micro-Credentials
Ready for Industry prepares learners and job seekers for five different micro-credential exams corresponding to the five industries covered in our instructional materials:
- Construction
- Healthcare
- Information Technology
- Logistics
- Manufacturing
These five industry-recognized credential exams measure general knowledge of each industry, and the common processes, terminology, and careers in each industry. Each NOCTI exam is customized to correspond to the content of the Ready for Industry curriculum, is approximately 50 multiple-choice questions, and is delivered online. These stackable credentials can be used for learners at the secondary level, post-secondary level, workforce development centers, and businesses.

To offer the assessments to your clients or students, you must apply for a NOCTi assessment account by contacting NOCTI or filling out the form here. The test must be proctored, either in person by your staff or by a virtual online proctor.

RFI helps a new job seeker obtain the knowledge for both a job interview and to contribute in entry-level positions by:
- Providing the job seeker with knowledge of common terminology and tasks
- Introducing basic safety, privacy and security issues
- Reviewing current topical issues and trends in the industry
