2025-2026 Educator of the Year Award Winners!



Kimberly Grant, of Visions in Education Charter School in Gold River, California is the 2025–2026 Digital Curriculum Educator of the Year! As a CTE and Independent Study teacher for over 14 years, she has supported high school students in a virtual learning environment in Game Design and Artificial Intelligence pathways, empowering students to explore career interests while building real-world, industry-relevant skills. Project-based learning, collaborative experiences, and career exploration tools, help students discover their strengths, gain confidence, and envision their future in emerging fields. Her student-centered approach fosters engagement, creativity, and meaningful connections in an independent study setting, preparing learners for success in both postsecondary education and the modern workforce.
Carissa Domrase of Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana is the 2025–2026 Knowledge Matters Educator of the Year! A business teacher and department chair, she has earned recognition as the Tri-State (KY, IN, OH) STEM Teacher of the Year and was a finalist for Indiana Computer Science Teacher of the Year. Carissa brings business education to life by integrating Knowledge Matters Retail and Restaurant simulations into a fully student-run, on-site coffee shop, where they apply data-driven decision-making to real operations. Through this innovative, hands-on approach, her students build financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills while gaining authentic experience that prepares them for success in business and beyond.
Jessie Stanley of Tower Heights Middle School in Centerville, Ohio is the 2025–2026 Learning Blade Educator of the Year! With 23 years of experience, she has been named Centerville Education Foundation Teacher of the Year and is a leader in integrating career exploration into English Language Arts. Jessie played a key role in developing a district-wide curriculum serving nearly 2,000 students, using Learning Blade missions as the foundation for instruction. The nonfiction-based English class focuses on reading skills, career education, critical-thinking, tech literacy, empathy, and adaptability. Coupled with engaging hands-on projects, her students build critical thinking, technical literacy, and problem-solving skills while exploring future career pathways.

About the Award
The eDynamic Learning Educator of the Year Award honors teachers using eDynamic Learning courseware, Knowledge Matters simulations, or Learning Blade missions to help guide students in their career discovery, keep them engaged, and prepare them for their future. Applications are accepted between February and early April each school year, with winners announced in early May to recognize outstanding achievement for the academic year about to be completed. Winners continue in their role until the following May when the next round of recipients are announced.

Award Details
The national winner in each category (eDynamic Learning curriculum, Knowledge Matters simulations, and Learning Blade) will receive a prize of $1,000, with state winners for Learning Blade and Ready for Industry receiving a prize of $250. Winners will be highlighted in upcoming communications to celebrate their impact on the lives of students, and will have the opportunity to speak at upcoming events to share their stories.
